A&P Mechanics

Proteus is seeking experienced Aircraft & Powerplant Mechanics to join our team in our maintenance facility in Santa Monica, CA. In your position you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircrafts to ensure safe and efficient operation. We believe in Mechanics who have humungous pride in their work, who value quality of work, and would fly the aircraft they sign off.

Responsibilities
– Conduct inspections and maintenance of Airframe & Powerplants in Single-Prop Aircraft.
– Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with common-sense.
– Repair or replace defective parts using Manuals, and self-diagnosis.
– Perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems.
– Ensure compliance with all AD/AC safety regulations and maintenance standards.

Requirements
– Experience as an A&P working on PA-28, Cirrus, Cessna, and other General Aviation Aircraft.
– Proficiency in airframe maintenance, and understanding of Engine systems.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
